IB Students at NHS

The IB students at NHS are greatly involved in the school and in the community. At NHS, they are exposed to all areas of the IB hexagon within their classes (Language A1 [English/Language Arts], Language A2, Experimental Sciences, Arts/Electives, Mathematics, and Societal/Human Studies).

Language A2 classes allow students to learn another language that is not their A1 language. The langauges offered at NHS are Spanish, French, German and Latin.

The experimental sciences at NHS include Physics and Biology. IB Physics can be a two year couse where IB Biology is only a one year course (students who take IB Biology will also take one year of Physics). Watch a video on Mr. Stoll's IB Physics class made by Nick Huddleston .
