Each month outstanding students are recognized as "positive role models and goodwill ambassadors," the standard for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. Brittany Boyd

Brittany Boyd has a genuine interest in serving the community, in addition to her responsibilities in the Band. She continues to put others before herself and is tireless in her drive to get people involved. It is great to see such a positive attitude and willingness to help others. She was nominated by Mr. Rudy Gilbert, Band Director.


Bhavana Dilipkumar

Bhavna Dilipkumar is self-motivated and always willing to step up to the challenge. Her natural leadership skills emerge whenever she is assigned a project. She has logged numerous hours of community service. Bhavna is an essential part of the Norcross News team. She was nominated by Mr. Aaron Feldser, Video Broadcasting teacher.


Phuc Duong

Phuc Duong is a bright and talented student dedicated to his work. He often takes his spare time to help other struggling students. He is always kind and thoughtful, helping whenever he sees a need. His combination of intelligence, dedication and kindness is a rare gift. He was nominated by Mrs. Katharine Gundlach, ESOL Chemistry and Physics teacher.


Derrick Foulke

Derrick Foulke is a class act! He amazes his teachers by how well he manages his time between football and his Advanced Placement classes. He models an incredible amount of positive energy to his peers by never complaining about his workload. He was nominated by Mrs. Jennifer Ballantine, Biology teacher.


Amy Fu Fan

Amy Fu Fan is willing to help others students in need. She faithfully shares her notes and stays late to help another student. She is a volunteer student teacher at Summerour MS. Her work ethic is outstanding, and she shows true compassion for her fellow students and teachers. She was nominated by Mrs. Debbie Dykes, Pre-Calculus and Algebra II teacher.


Meriem Guehaiz

Meriem Guehaiz is an excellent student and role model for her peers. She is committed to doing her best academically, and she always takes time to help her classmates understand course material. She is very mature and responsible and has great respect for herself and others. She was nominated by Mrs. Linda Katz, Language Arts teacher.


Hayken Paschal

Hayden Paschal represents everything a Norcross student should be. He works hard at everything he does, whether it is academics or sports. He has the determination of an Olympic athlete. He excels because of his work ethic and the value he places on a job well done. He was nominated by Mrs. Shawn Wilson, ESOL Social Studies teacher.


Kornel Wyskowski

Kornel Wyskowski is a determined and outgoing student who is eager to learn. He does not hesitate to help other students, and always does it with a smile or kind word. His secret weapons to being successful are his sense of humor, his positive outlook on life, and his hard work. He was nominated by Mrs. Agnes Browning, ESOL Language Arts teacher.
