Community Service Opportunities

Every Tuesday Rainbow Village – 3:45-6:30 pm daily, need volunteers to help w/ after school program for underprivileged (help with homework, reading, arts and crafts, etc.)

Sept. 26-Oct. 3 Gwinnett Great Day of Service: Underclassmen bring Toothbrushes and Toothpaste, Upperclassmen bring Soap and Shampoo. Everyone Bring Socks. Bring items to 5 th period teacher.

Friday October 3 Taste of Norcross – All night and afternoon to help with set-up and clean-up

Saturday October 4 MDA Walk – See Allison Moder if you’re interested

October 4-5 Norcross Arts Festival at Downtown Historic Norcross. Saturday Volunteers will work 3-4 hour shifts (crafts, hospitality, etc.). On Sunday need volunteers to Man the Sustainable Norcross Informational Booth at Thrasher Park, empty and refresh recycle containers, set up and shut down. Need volunteers in shifts from 9 AM – 8 PM

Saturday October 18 MANDATORY Homecoming Dance Set-up 10-1

Saturday October 18 People and Parks: Best Friend Park from 9:00-12:00 Sign-up at www.gwinnettparksfoundation.org

Thursday  Thursday October 30 Parent Volunteer Night at Peachtree Elementary 6:30-8:15. 2 volunteers to help w/ sign and 18 to help babysitting kids

Saturday November 15 Hands on Peachtree Elementary10:00-2:00 – As many volunteers as possible to help work on the grounds

November 17-21 Holiday Spirit Drive – Collect/Donate can goods, sorting and delivery Friday the 21 st after school

Saturday December 6 Volunteer at Open Hand 9:00 am – 12:00 pm or 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm. Open Hand helps make home-delivered meals to people with chronic diseases

January 30-31 MANDATORY Winter Lock-in, community service activities included

February 16-20 Collect Soda Can Tabs for Ronald McDonald House

Sunday March 29 Relay Dog Show – Volunteers need to set-up and run show

Friday April 17 Relay Carnival/Movie Night – Volunteers needed to help work Carnival Stations and clean-up

April 30 Operation Drive-Smart

Thursday May 7 Celebrate Peachtree Elementary 6:00-8:00 (around 10 volunteers needed)

Frida May 8-9 RELAY FOR LIFE
